Larry Schaner

Founder & Acting General Manager

Dear Prospective Client,

In my 30-years specializing within the disciplines of Aerial Imagery, Photogrammetry, LiDAR,
Remote Sensing, Survey and GIS, never has there been a more exciting time to be involved, or a more challenging time for those seeking straightforward answers and solutions in a rapidly evolving technology and business climate. The availability of established, leading edge and bleeding edge technologies and applications combined with often confusing industry messages makes it nearly impossible to know where to turn for clarity and right solutions in a market that is not well understood by those not entrenched in it on a daily basis.

The traditional “total solutions” services provider companies, can no longer fiscally own and operate “all” available technologies necessary to compete on all project types, conditions and regions. This and the availability of distinctive (custom) equipment & applications has caused a rapid increase in lower overhead “specialty” company’s focusing on being the very best at a single component of the total solution for a specific project type, region and condition.

CloudMAP Services (CMS) conveniently and effectively combines the capabilities of these “specialty” companies, under the direction of our experienced technical team, that when combined offers our clients the highest quality lowest cost solution on any project anywhere in the world through a single source.

What else makes CloudMAP the best solution?

CloudMAP Services (CMS) was created to address the exact issues clients face as expressed in response to a detailed industry survey presented to hundreds of agencies seeking mapping solutions. We in turn responded by structuring a company to specifically address each and every concern when we asked: “What is your greatest concern when seeking mapping / geospatial services?” (Listed in order of most often answered by percentage of those polled.)

31% – Articulating our requirements to ensure we get the data we need. (In terms of content, accuracy, format and timing.)

a. Solution – CMS experienced technical experts represent your interests and work with you to understand your project needs, then articulate those needs / interests into an “industry speak” detailed specification that is clear and unambiguous to our industry.

28% – What technology / solution best serves my project and where do I look to find the most qualified and efficient providers?

a. Solution – CMS consists of a prequalified network of the industry’s leading specialty providers (over 100 in number). Through a single point of contact at CMS, those best suited in the project region possessing the right experience and technology are provided the specification and aggressively bid for your / our business. (Network covers both US and International coverage.)

19% – How do we know if the delivered data (content / accuracy) is compliant with our specification?

a. Most clients do not possess data compliance tools and protocols. Our staff produces the data and/or completes an independent QA/QC of the data periodically and ensures specification compliance prior to delivery to you. Interim deliveries offer opportunity to accommodate desired modifications prior to final delivery.

12% – Selecting the right offer / proposal.

a. Solution – CMS industry experts representing your interests review the bids, respond with questions, select the best value and present to you in a concise proposal. We negotiate, contract, manage, QC and deliver the project directly to you.

5% – What if something goes wrong?

a. Generally our approach mitigates problems however should issues occur  we have found that peer to peer discussions easily resolve them. (It is likely we offer more experience and, providers desire to please and to stay “in network”.)

5% – Cost of services.

a. The right specification, right technology, shortest mobilizations, experienced professionals and sensor centric processing workflows results in the best quality, timing and cost for the data your project requires – fact!

We respectfully ask for the opportunity to provide a custom solution for your next project and the opportunity to earn your business.

Regards,
Larry Schaner
